Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Director General of Health Dr. Ashley Bloomfield addressed media this afternoon for the COVID-19 update.
The Prime Minister announced that from tomorrow Tuesday 2 Nov 11.59 pm restrictions will ease for Waikato at Level 3 Step 2. The same will be applied for Auckland next Tuesday.
There were more than 20,000 vaccines administered yesterday taking New Zealand’s vaccination rate to 88% for first doses and 75% for second doses representing 3,159,301 fully vaccinated New Zealanders. 85% of Pasifika have one dose, with 69% receiving two doses.
