Festival goers will be spoiled for choice this weekend with Hamilton and Rotorua Pasifika communities celebrating culture, arts and craft and food.
The annual Kaute Pasifika Nesian Festival kicks off this year teaming up with Waikato University and will be held at the University sports grounds.
Meanwhile the Rotorua Pacific Islands Development Charitable Trust will host their festival at the Lake Front Village. The annual event aims to empower children to feel proud of being Pasifika and for the Rotorua community to fundraise for their own goals and initiatives.
Both events are free to the community and kick off from 10 am this Saturday 27 March 2021.
