Voting documents will be posted to eligible voters from tomorrow for the Mangere-Otahuhu Local Board By-Election of the Auckland Council.
A vacancy became available after the resignation of a current board member.
The Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board area contains just over 50,000 eligible voters.
The candidates for the By-election are:
- Sharon Bragg – Independent
- Phil Bridge – NZ Outdoors Party
- Christian Malietoa-Brown
- Papaliitele Lafulafu Peo – Labour Party
- Elnez Tofa
- Malcolm Turner – Communities and Residents
Voting will close 12 noon, Wednesday 17 February 2021
